Description

(SOLD) Porsche production of the 356C began in July 1963. Little was changed from the 356B however on closer inspection a new wheel and hubcap design could be seen. Porsche had been experimenting with disc brakes since 1958 and the 356C was the first production Porsche to feature disc brakes. The 356C came with 2 engine options the 1600C with 75 BHP and the 1600SC with 95 BHP.

History

This wonderful classic was restored by its previous owner, a local Rancho Santa Fe Porsche collector. It is a good high-level driver that was restored to drive and enjoy. The engine was rebuilt and serviced by Gitzenger Motor Werks in Escondido, CA. The interior was done by Autos International and Classic Showcase had done a total vehicle service and total vehicle detail. This 356 Porsche is a very nice driver.
