Description
(SOLD) This beautiful, unmolested Jaguar XJS Convertible is in very good, original condition. It has been well maintained; garage kept and is a solid, Arizona car with limited ownership. The metallic silver blue exterior with sand colored leather seats is a great color combination, with the wood grain accents to really set it off. This 1995 XJS is a very collectable year, was recently serviced by Classic Showcase, with good condition Jaguar European Headlights, and A/C system that blows cold. The car comes with an original Jaguar radio with AM/FM Cassette, and a 6 CD changer in the trunk. All engine and mechanical systems have been gone through and are in good working order. The car includes jack, spare tire, owners manual, and a top boot. This Jaguar would serve well as a daily driver or a great addition to your collection.
History
In 1995, the final specification changes were made to the XJS and the car was referred to as the Celebration model to celebrate the 60th year of the Jaguar Company. Celebration cars are easily identifiable by the diamond turned wheels, Jaguar embossed seats and distinctive wooden steering wheel. These latest cars are the most desirable of all the later XJSs, especially the convertibles. The 6 liter V12 had all but disappeared by this time and was only available during the last year of production by special order. The car was discontinued in 1996, after 21 years in production. It was replaced by the XK8.
