1975 JAGUAR XJ6C COUPE

Summer 2020 Restoration Update

In our Spring 2020 newsletter, we discussed some of the challenges involved in performing a customized restoration to this 1975 Jaguar XJ6C, and while the wait has been long, we can now report that we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel on the restoration of this Coupe. From scarcity of parts, to getting custom farbications just right, the restoration of this particular example threw the book at our Team and then some; but in the end, they persevered by stepping up to the challenge, moving them closer and closer to the finish line.

The craftsmanship and attention to every detail was necessary for a restoration like this, regardless of how large or small, or how complex or frustrating a portion of the job could be; perfection was the goal, and the Team was on a mission; with hundreds and hundreds of classic Jaguar restorations collectively under their belt, the Team forged on amidst many issues, and in turn have produced a one of kind XJ6C example that some might say is better than when the car was first born at the factory in 1975. The vibrant Blue over White color combination is truly vibrant and unique, and is fully complimented by the painstakingly restored wooden dash and custom steering wheel. The performance customizations are noteable as well, sporting a powerful Triple set of high performance Weber carbureators coupled with stainless steel headers and finished with a further customized Free-Flow exhaust system, showing how this spectacular Coupe is more than just an elegant and proper example - but an incredibly fast one too!
