As we talked about in our last newsletter, this is a wonderful 1954 Jaguar XK-120 FHC with impressive history. You can read all about the custom build and interesting history here.
It was a one owner car prior to this present ownership, and the 1st owner custom ordered it with Hornberg Jaguar. It has the C type head with 9:1 compression, sand cast carbs from the factory, and was still outfitted in its original paint work when we got it in.
We have been having so much fun crafting this exceptional XK-120. It’s not often we get to build a car that will be driven, rallied, and shown. We hope to have it near completion in our next newsletter. Stay tuned for the final glamour shots once she is done and ready for her grand debut.
