Jaguar Club of Southern Arizona 39th
Concours d' Elegance 2011

The Jaguar Club of Southern Arizona 39th Concours d' Elegance was held on October 29, 2011 at the St Philips Plaza in Tucson, AZ. The exciting weekend began Friday with a Halloween themed party on the lawn, near the pool, at the Windmill Inn. So many people got in the spirit and came in costume Saturday began the Concours d'Elegance at the St Philips Plaza. There was a lovely lunch for all at the Italian Vivace Restaurant, also at the Plaza. Following the Concours, the Gala Dinner and Awards Presentation were held at the Westward Look Resort, which had a spectacular view overlooking Tucson. The President and Chief Judge of the San Diego Jaguar Club attended, as well as several other SDJC members.

Our very own Tom Krefetz is the South West Regional Director for JCNA, and had the honor of presenting the awards to all the winners!!! Overall this event was very well attended and a lot of fun to be a part of. Stan Elman scored 100 points, and won 1st place for his 1966 Jaguar XKE Series I 4.2 OTS restored by Classic Showcase. He also took home the Participant Favorite Choice Award which is only given to one vehicle in the Concours, and is quite an honor.

Congratulations Stan! We are also proud to announce Tom Krefetz scored 100 points, and won 1st place with his 1959 Jaguar XK-150S FHC. This is Tom's third consecutive 100 point score in 2011, which has made him the newest JCNA National Champion!!

The National Award will be presented in March of 2012 at A.G.M./Western States in Phoenix. Classic Showcase is proud to have restored this award-winning Jaguar.
