IDYLLWILD CONCOURS

HOSTED BY THE
INLAND EMPIRE JAGUAR CLUB

OCTOBER 5-6, 2019

The Inland Empire Jaguar Club hosts one of the finest annual Jaguar Concours d ’Elegance events on the West Coast. The Club is proud to sponsor the Annual "Wine Country Concours" in Idyllwild, CA - a quaint little rustic town nested high on the mountain tops of the San Bernardino Mountains. The event is held on the grounds of the Historic Idyllwild Inn, where many participants can stay in cottages. This brings many Jaguar people in from all over Southern California and provides a great getaway location in the mountains to enjoy each other's company, trade stories and tips, and most importantly discuss all things Jaguar.

This year's event was well-attended and included a cocktail reception on the Friday evening before the start of the event, to welcome incoming participants and get unwound and settled in before the night of the Concours. The weather proved to be accommodating, with cool mountain breezes replacing the hot winds of summer.

Many different types of Jaguar models that encompassed many classic eras of the Marque were on display, from first place winner Tom Krefetz' 1961 E-Type, to a plethora of XJs, XKs, and newer models like the sleek F-Type. A diversified collection of models provided entrants with eye candy, and also fostered much discussion about the history of these cars.
