We are extremely proud to show you the final photos of this truly spectacular 1966 Jaguar XKE Fixed Head Coupe Show-Level restoration before it gets delivered to a collector client in Virginia. This is quite a special car, that has undergone our comprehensive nut and bolt restoration to a show level standard.
The client desired to keep the car stock overall, with a few subtle improvements to enhance it, while keeping it mostly original so as to not get deductions in future competition showing. The new owner plans to drive the XKE sparingly but does plan to show it in upcoming 2022 events and simply enjoy the car that he’s always dreamt of owning.
The client had commissioned the restoration online and had never seen the car or been to Classic Showcase but did stop in for a visit as the car grew nearer to completion. Upon arrival, He was amazed with not only the car, but our facility itself, and truly appreciated all of the efforts that went into building him an E-Type. We hope he enjoys his XKE and look forward to seeing his accomplishments on the show field!
