Its first registered owner documented was listed as Valker Ward Leasing Co. of San Francisco, California. The car remained on the West Coast its entire life and in recent years was discovered after 30 years of proper storage in Colorado. The 'E' appears to have had a relatively easy life, with service documentation showing that its original mileage had only reached 67,000 by 1981 (prior to storage). This lack of use served to protect its identity and detail, such that its engine block number as well as chassis, gearbox and all body numbers tally with its Heritage Certificate. This generation of cars is known to be the most classic and drivable of early E Types, and this coupe in its fantastic color combination of Jaguar Dark Blue over a Tan interior represents a rare opportunity to own an exquisite E-Type example.
