Summer 2023 -  Restoration Completed!

The restoration process of the iconic 1964 Jaguar E-Type went very well, resulting in a truly magnificent outcome! Meticulous details were attended to with the utmost care, as skilled craftsmen dedicated countless hours to breathe life back into this automotive legend. From the beautifully sculpted curves of the body to the luxurious interior, no aspect was overlooked. Painstaking efforts were made to preserve its original charm while incorporating modern methods to ensure a harmonious blend of the past and present. The final result showed the gleaming paintwork reflected in a resplendent shine, and the purr of the engine resonated with renewed vigor.

BACKGROUND ON THE RESTORATION:

The couple decided to go for a mostly stock restoration to the car, returning it to its original condition. However, they also wanted to add a few upgrades that would enhance the driving experience. One of the upgrades was converting the car's generator to an alternator, which provides improved charging and also better suited for night time driving. They chose to keep the car's orignial Blaupunkt stereo in dash, but had us install a "hidden" amplifier, speakers, and Bluetooth connectivity so they can utilize audio components on modern devices such as iphones and ipads, giving the XKE a modern touch while retaining its classic charm.
