The restoration began with the body stripped to bare metal and mounted on a rotisserie, where it was carefully metal-finished and lead work was performed where required. Throughout the process, close attention was given to body fit, panel alignment, and overall presentation, while every major component was restored, refinished, or replaced as needed. Mechanically, the matching-numbers engine was fully rebuilt to factory specifications, and the suspension, braking, cooling, fuel, hydraulic, and electrical systems were restored or refurbished as part of the comprehensive project. The interior was completed by our in-house Master Trimmer using the correct materials and finishes, resulting in a beautifully tailored Black leather cabin that complements the exterior while preserving the E-Type's original character. With the major restoration work now complete, our team is concentrating on final road testing, adjustments, and sorting before delivery. Whether enjoyed on scenic drives or displayed at regional concours events, this striking Series 2 Roadster combines the presentation, authenticity, and craftsmanship that have defined Classic Showcase restorations for nearly four decades.
