WINTER 2023 RESTORATION UPDATE

This example has proven to be a great candidate for a Show level restoration, and significant progress has already been made towards it's completion. The process has included stripping it down to bare metal and securely placing it on a rotisserie for precision work. Metal finishing and leadwork have been skillfully completed, and the integration of body parts wrapped up earlier in the year. The car has advanced through the stages of priming, sealing, and the application of base and clear coats, resulting in a remarkable finish that has been expertly color sanded and buffed to perfection.

The vehicle's systems have all been been gone through and the engine was rebuilt to factory specifications and installed to the XKE, while the fuel, electrical, cooling, and hydraulic systems were also restored and installed as well. A significant highlight was the transformation of the car's interior with a custom-tailored design that was crafted from authentic materials, courtesy of our master trimmer in our upholstery department. With the core of the restorative work now completed, the team will soon be ready to start test-driving the E-Type to ensure everything is running smoothly before handing the keys over to it's new owner. This Jaguar E-Type will soon be ready to be enjoed and admired whereever it roams! Please check our Spring 2024 Newsletter for the exciting conclusion to this E-Type restoration!
