The 2023 Concours at Wynn Las Vegas took place at the Wynn Golf Club from Friday, November 10, to Sunday, November 12. The showcase on Saturday at the resort's championship golf course featured 280 vehicles categorized into Concours, Hypercar, Electric, and Concept and Culture. Within the Concours category, two outstanding vehicles were honored with the Best of Show awards for both Pre- and Post-War periods. Additionally, 14 other
vehicles received Best in Class designations. This prestigious event is a fusion of luxury, history, and engineering excellence, drawing in car aficionados, collectors, and industry experts from every corner of the globe.

Breaking away from the typical concours vibe, the Las Vegas Concours d’Elegance is rewriting the script by seamlessly blending automotive tradition with a futuristic twist. This year's showcase was no ordinary affair—it was a melting pot of concept cars, hypercars, and electric vehicles, signaling a bold step into the future of the automotive world. Steve Weitman, President of Wynn Las Vegas, expressed gratitude for the success of this year's event, attributing it largely to the support from sponsors such as the Petersen Automotive Museum, National Automobile Museum, the Audrain Automobile Museum, Louis XIII, and O'Gara Coach, among others. "The gathering showcased the world's most prestigious cars and automakers, and we anticipate the Concours to flourish in the coming years, establishing Wynn as a premier destination for automotive enthusiasts worldwide," added Weitman.

Best of Show Pre-War:

The spotlight shone on a remarkable 1935 Duesenberg SJ, skillfully presented by Harry Yeaggy hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio. This exceptional vehicle holds a distinguished place in automotive history as one of the two "Mormon Meteor" land-speed record cars. The name pays homage to Ab Jenkins, a devout Mormon and record-holder, who achieved a 24-hour speed record in its model year. Meticulously preserved, the car underwent a thorough restoration in 2007 and clinched the Best in Show title the same year at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The runner-up in the Best of Show Pre-War category was a 1940 Packard Super 8 Convertible, originally commissioned for the owner of Maybelline Cosmetics. Proudly presented by Steve and Michelle Snyder of Orange, California, this Packard Super 8 adds another layer of elegance to the prestigious lineup.

Best of Show Post-War:

Gracing the spotlight was a 1969 Lamborghini Miura S, elegantly presented by Jeffrey Meier from Woodland Hills, California. Recognized as the pioneering modern supercar, the Miura S catapulted Lamborghini to fame with its distinctive 12-cylinder engine positioned in the middle of the car. Adorned in its original Arancio Miura orange paint, this iconic vehicle, celebrated for its speed and performance, garnered numerous accolades, including prestigious awards at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The runner-up in the Best of Show Post-War category was a 1964 Shelby Daytona Coupe, a rarity with only five produced between 1964 and 1965. Engineered and crafted for the racing circuit, this Shelby Daytona Coupe stands as a testament to precision and excellence in automotive design.
