1966 Jaguar XKE FHC

A Classic Showcase restoration...

About the Jaguar and its restoration

This matching-numbers 1966 Jaguar E-Type Fixed Head Coupe is currently undergoing a show-level restoration. Finished in striking Jaguar Dark Blue with a custom fit and tailored Tan interior, the XKE is being rebuilt from the ground up with the same meticulous standards applied to all of our concours-level projects.

The E-Type was completely stripped to bare metal and placed on a rotisserie to begin the restoration process. The body was metal-finished, leaded, and carefully test-fitted with all chrome and trim pieces prior to primer and sealer. It has received base and clear coats in its original Jaguar Dark Blue, followed by color sanding and buffing to achieve a flawless, mirror-like finish.

Inside the E-Type, our Master Trimmer is crafting a completely new custom-tailored interior using the correct Tan materials, patterns, and textures. The work includes seats, panels, carpets, and finishing details.

Mechanical Parts & Assembly

Mechanically, the E-Type's 4.2-liter engine is in the process of being rebuilt back to factory specs, along with its transmission, cooling, fuel, electrical, and hydraulic systems. All other major parts and components are being restored or replaced to show-level standards to ensure the Jaguar performs as well as it looks!

Upon completion, this 1966 E-Type Fixed Head Coupe will stand as an exceptional example of the Series I 4.2-liter E-Types, ready for concours competition, spirited driving, or inclusion in a private collection. A full MP4 pictorial video presentation of the restoration process will accompany the car for its next caretaker.
