The Roadster received a comprehensive restoration while incorporating several selected modern upgrades for improved drivability and handling. Among those options was an electric power steering system with built-in computer control. At low speeds or at slower speeds while parking for example, the system will automatically activate and provide effortless steering for the driver. Once the XKE is up to speed, the system will back off, giving the driver a more natural steering feel that E-Types are known for. It is the latest generation of power steering our team of craftsmen integrated (and hidden from view) to maintain the Jaguar’s original appearance.

Additional enhancements to the Roadster included an alloy radiator with an auxiliary unit, electronic ignition, and ceramic-coated, heat-treated manifolds; These were all choices made to improve reliability and performance in the warmer climate where the car will be driven. These upgrades work quietly in the background, allowing the Roadster to remain visually faithful to an original Series I, while offering the convenience and confidence of modern engineering.

Finished in its stunning Opalescent Silver Blue with a custom-tailored Red interior, the Roadster now stands as both a showpiece as well as a driver’s car, a great combination of authenticity, beauty, and subtle modernization.
