1956 FORD F100 PICKUP TRUCK

CLIENT RESTORATION UPDATE

This 1956 Ford F100 has been an incredible and exciting build not only for the client, but for the team at Classic Showcase as well. Our team has been recreating a Truck that he once owned and restored with his father many years ago. Right after it was restored, it was unfortunately stolen. The client had always wanted this truck, and had been crushed ever since this incident happened. He approached us with the task of revamping the project, and found an original black-plate California truck that we have been building for him. We have made good progress on the work performed since our last update, and invite you to view the progression of this special build!
The restoration of this F100 is an extremely custom project, and everything needs to be exact. As the build continues to move forward, we have been deeply involved with the assembly in the last quarter, and there is a little bit of painting, wet sanding and buffing that remains to be completed; most of the electronics and accompanying electrical systems have been put in place.

UPHOLSTERY/INTERIOR INSTALLATION GALLERY:

The interior is all leather, with a great German square weave carpet installed to achieve a great look. On the exterior, the truck’s front bumper is being  worked on and will be re-chromed and in the meantime, we are awaiting arrival of the electric window conversion kit for the doors. We just recently installed the front windshield and trim and have also installed the instruments, a new ignition switch, headlight switch, as well as installing a steering column and new brake pedal assembly. We are now working on installing the bed of the truck, and afterward will hang, setup and upholster the truck’s doors. Stay tuned to our Fall 2021 Newsletter for further updates on this uniquely exciting build!
