1966 JAGUAR XKE FHC

CLIENT RESTORATION UPDATE

In the latest update on the restoration of a client's 1966 Jaguar E-Type Fixed Head Coupe, we will be showing you the progress our team has made on the bodywork. We have painted the monocoque in sealer, then painted it in base and clear coat, as seen in the pictures below. The coupe's frame rails, gas lid, and doors are in the process of being prepped for paint. The last component of the car that our team will complete is the bonnet - which requires some additional bodywork. Once that is completed, we will then add primer, sealer, and wet sand and buff. Once the bonnet work is completed, the coupe will enter our assembly area. Stay tuned to our Fall newsletter for an update on the progress of this E-Type.
