1965 JAGUAR XKE FHC

CHASSIS No. 1E30665  Winter 2020 Restoration Update

In our Fall newsletter we gave readers an update on the progress of our 1965 Jaguar XKE Coupe that we decided to restore to that of our Show-level. Since then, all of the bodywork, mechanicals, and interior components have been made, and the Coupe has been in the process of being completely assembled. Our body men completed work on the XKE's Bonnet several weeks ago and will soon fit and assemble it to the Coupe's newly finished monocoque. It is sure to look spectacular in its Jaguar-official original exterior color of Opalescent Golden Sand and complimenting Tan interior.

Our Team has also completed work on all of the major components such as the matching-numbers 4.2 Liter Engine, Transmission, Rear End, and all of the other mechanicals are in the process of being installed to the car, as seen in the photos below. This E-Type will be completed just in time for Spring 2021, and just in time to light up any show field it enters!
