The Inland Empire Jaguar Club (IEJC) recently celebrated its
20th year of JCNA Concours with the 11th Annual Jagstravaganza, held from
October 4th to 6th, 2024, in the picturesque mountain town of Idyllwild,
California. This milestone event brought together Jaguar enthusiasts from
across the region to honor the marque's rich heritage and showcase a stunning
array of classic and modern models.
Saturday's Concours d'Elegance was the highlight of the
weekend, featuring meticulously maintained Jaguars displayed against the scenic
backdrop of Idyllwild's natural beauty. Judging commenced at 10 AM, with awards
presented in various classes, including a display class for non-competing
vehicles. The diversity of models on display, from vintage classics to
contemporary designs, underscored the enduring appeal of the Jaguar brand.
This was the last JCNA show of the year, and as such Tom showed his XKSS where he achieved a first place showing. This is the 3rd nd award of the year for the XKSS, where the car received a regional JCNA shown in June with perfect score (JOCLA) SDJC 9.98 , HB Concours 100 points, 100 idyllwild, 3 first places, 2 perfect, 1 close (national champ), as well as
The day concluded with an awards banquet at Ferro Restaurant, where participants celebrated the day's achievements and shared their passion for Jaguar automobiles. The camaraderie among attendees highlighted the strong sense of community within the IEJC. On Sunday, the festivities continued with a Jaguar parade through downtown Idyllwild, culminating in a scenic drive to Humber Park for a group photo opportunity. This procession not only delighted participants but also engaged the local community, fostering a shared appreciation for automotive excellence. The 11th Annual Jagstravaganza exemplified the IEJC's commitment to celebrating Jaguar's legacy and fostering connections among enthusiasts. The club's dedication to organizing such events ensures that the passion for Jaguar automobiles remains vibrant.
