a look at our latest special projects...
In the
summer of 2024, Classic Showcase started a much-needed renovation and
improvement to our facility. Our team approached this remodeling project
in a staged and systematic manner similar to how we restore a vehicle.
After
an exhaustive search, we found the appropriate General
Contractor—Wegener Construction, led by Michael Wegener. They specialize
in quality and cost-effective work. This is a family of generations of
contractors with specialties in most construction facets. This large
family of contractors has architects, engineers, and other specialist
fields that work together. This was an easy decision, and there have
been no disappointments.
Michael interviewed the sub-contractors
and sourced the best to do this challenging job. Aqua Bear Plumbing,
co-owned by Adam, was an incredible choice to perform a demanding job
and not interrupt the “flow” of our work as our team continued to
perform restoration tasks on our projects. Adam K. and his team
engineered and performed the removal of sewage pipes, made pipe repairs,
and replaced all plumbing and fixtures in our shop restroom.
Premiere
Construction—owned by Alfredo Espinoza—and his team worked on the
excavation, dirt removal, installation of French drains and concrete,
re-engineering the walls, replacing stucco, and driveway renovation. We
were not disappointed with any of the decisions or work performed on
behalf of Wegener Construction and all subcontractors Michael brought in
on the project. We highly recommend his company to anyone needing
commercial or residential construction!

It all started with a problem caused by two large trees in front of our building entrance. As the trees grew over the years, their roots found their way into the sewer pipes and broke them and into the front office restrooms and the shop restroom. With these issues and the need for an update, we completely renovated the bathroom with energy-efficient toilets, sinks, and LED lighting and finished it with Italian tile. All bathroom pipes were replaced as well. After the grating and driveway work is completed, we will be putting up new screening on our lunch and event patio.
The work included renovating the sewage system, office and employee bathrooms - with fixtures, piping, etc., the body shop wall, the foundation, drainage system, and grating. The body shop, as well as the outside building, has been completely repainted. We relocated our tire balancing and mounting equipment near our service lifts for more efficient and better use of the area. We also reviewed the electrical systems, breakers, boxes, wiring, etc., to improve and uphold proper standards. We are also in the process of replacing the asphalt and concrete on the front driveway. We are happy to say that we are near the completion of the entire project and will give you a wrap-up in our upcoming Winter newsletter!
