Description
(SOLD) No expense is being spared in this incredible restoration. The craftsmanship is superb as well as the fit and finish. During the restoration process at classic showcase the following was performed by there craftsman. The 4.2 engine has been rebuilt to factory specifications including hot-tanked, magnafluxed, calibrated, and inspected. New pistons, bearings, timing chain, new oil pump, and water pump. The head was rebuilt, machined, surfaced and calibrated with new valves, guides, keepers, bearings, tensioners and seals. Clutch system, rebuilt carburetors, all new brake system, many powder coated parts, under carriage rebuilt, with new suspension, new wire harness, gas tank restored and epoxy sealed
History
This Series I 4.2 E-type is the most desirable of all the series with a fully synchronized 4 speed transmission, covered headlights, toggle switches on the dash, comfortable bucket seats, center consol, and arm rest. This makes the best driver and the most collectable for an investment.
