Description
(SOLD) This matching numbers, 1967 Jaguar Mark II 3.4 Sedan is a wonderful car that has recently completed a comprehensive restoration by Classic Showcase to a Show/Driver level, no expense being spared. Included in the restoration process the vehicle was stripped to bare metal, placed on a rotisserie, metal finished, leaded, all body parts fitted to the car and chrome, prepared for primer, sealer, paint, base, clear, color sanded and buffed to a fabulous finish. It has received a new windshield and door glass. All mechanical systems and components have been gone through, serviced, restored or replaced as needed. The engine and transmission have been rebuilt back to factory specifications as well as the rear end and suspension. All other systems such as the electrical system, hydraulic system, cooling system and fuel system have been restored or replaced and the car received all new rubber and a complete new wire loom. The car has also received a new correct exhaust system, new battery, the gas tank has been epoxy sealed and the radiator has been restored. All chrome was re-plated. The car received a complete new custom tailored and fit interior in the correct materials by our upholstery department. A DVD of the restoration process to Show/Driver will accompany the vehicle. It has very few miles driven since restoration. Everything that came with the car when it was new is included. This is an excellent example to compete in your favorite Concours.
History
Adhering to William Lyons' maxim of "grace, pace and space", the Mark II was a beautiful, fast and capable saloon car. This is an incredibly fantastic car. The one owner purchased this car new and the car has lived in Southern, Ca its whole life and has California Black Plates. This was an excellent rust-free example for us to restore.
