(SOLD) This rare "America Roadster" is in spectacular condition, with only 30,200 original miles, and comes dressed in a gorgeous color combination of Zermatt Silver Metallic and marine Blue. It is all original, and was maintained by Porsche Factory trained technicians. Garage kept by the 2nd owner for over 20 years, it has had only had two owners since new, and comes with a clean Carfax. Well-appointed with all leather Sport Seats for both the driver and passenger, has factory air conditioning, power windows, cruise control, is a fuel injected, and is a factory wide body, which is 1 of 250 produced between 1992-1993. Outfitted with a 3.6 L 6-cylinder engine, 5 speed transmission, it displays great patina, with very little wear showing. The exterior is very clean. Accompanying it upon purchase are its books, records and tools. This car is for the Porsche collector who wants a limited car, in showroom condition, and is very well documented.
History
The rarest of all air-cooled Porsche 911's. The 1992 the turbo became standard with a five-speed manual gearbox. The Roadster variants are becoming more coveted, especially the original USA spec America Roadster, and are seldom seen on the market. They came standard with: welded, unitized construction; double-sided, zinc-galvanized steel body; halogen headlights w/washers, front apron w/integrated fog lights, electric adj. /heated exterior mirrors, tinted glass all around, heated windshield washer nozzles, power-assisted force-sensitive rack & pinion steering, backlit analog instrumentation w/tachometer, oil pressure/oil temp/fuel level/ oil level gauges & corresponding warning lights, and a LSD Limited Slip Differential with 40% lock.
