This attractive 1965 Jaguar E-Type roadster is a numbers-matching example that comes in a great color combination, and offers many of the sought after Series 1 features that collectors look for including armrests, a center console, covered headlights, toggle switches, and much more! According to its Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate, this E-Type was dispatched to Jaguar Cars, New York on 14 October 1964, and is thought to have remained a California car since purchased new. Our team has performed a full service along with some light restorative work to the Roadster, bringing it up to our show/driver level condition. This E-Type roadster is a wonderful example that is ready to be shown or driven today!
The series I 4.2 is the most user friendly, best driver, and most collectable of the E-Types. These wonderful cars had a 4.2 liter engine with 3SU Carburetors and a fully synchronized transmission. Some of the features of this model are covered headlights, toggle switches, full instrumentation with styling and design that was way ahead of its time, center console, arm rests, and fully synchronized transmission.
