Description

This beautifully kept 2007 Jaguar XK Convertible is a 3 owner from new Southern California car finished in factory Salsa Red over a Charcoal leather interior. A multiple JCNA (Jaguar Clubs of North America) award winner, this XK has been exceptionally maintained and cared for since new, and is now ready for a new home.

It is equipped with the desirable Luxury Package, which includes a heated wood and leather steering wheel, leather-wrapped instrument panel, and upgraded 19" Carelia alloy wheels. Additional features include Bi-Xenon headlights, Alpine audio system with 6-disc CD changer, Bluetooth connectivity, touchscreen navigation, reverse park control, power-operated soft top with glass rear window, rain-sensing windshield wipers, driver and passenger airbags, and a factory security system.

The XK received a full major service at 56,000 miles, and the secondary air injection pump was replaced just 150 miles ago. A brand-new German convertible top was recently installed (and has never seen rain!) The top and windows can be raised and lowered remotely using the keyfob, thanks to upgraded actuators. Cosmetically, the XK presents beautifully. The wheels were rechromed within the past year, the glass has been ceramic sealed, and the entire car has been ceramic coated for long-term protection. The interior leather has also been professionally treated and preserved.

This XK Convertible offers an ideal combination of luxury, performance, and presentation. It is ready for open-air driving, concours events, or simply to be enjoyed as a refined modern classic!

History

The Jaguar XK is a two-door 2+2 grand tourer manufactured and marketed by Jaguar Cars from 1996–2012 and by Jaguar Land Rover from 2013–2014 in hatchback coupé and convertible body styles, across two generations. The XK was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1996 and was discontinued in July 2014. The first generation was marketed as the XK8, replacing the XJS and was Jaguar's first 8-cylinder model since the Daimler 250, introducing the all-new Jaguar AJ-V8 engine. The XK8 shared its platform with the Aston Martin DB7 which was itself based on the stillborn XJ41/42 project built on a modified XJ-S chassis conceived in the mid-1980s. The second generation of the XK, noted for its aluminum monocoque chassis and construction, was launched in 2006 for the 2007 model year. The XKR performance variant was introduced in both of the generations with the second generation also offering a more powerful XKR-S variant.
